ProServe is a 24/7 tech support hotline that connects an experienced engineer via a remote desktop application to the critical components of your machine. This is accomplished through the implementation of a communications and hardware topology shown in Figure 1.

The heart of the system is the ProMaintenance Station. ProMaintenance is a PC station for supporting the industrial control system installed by Circonix Technologies. It comes complete with all the hardware and software necessary to connect to the machine control systems various components.
Located directly at the machine, it is designed, configured, installed, and tested by Circonix Technologies but belongs to the end-user. In this manner, all of the software licenses and backups reside on the ProMaintenance Station. Additionally, electronic manuals and CAD drawings for the machine can be viewed for easy reference.
This allows a trained maintenance technician the ability to troubleshoot online, make backups, or restore an application quickly and easily. There is no more wasted time trying to figure out why you can’t get online.
The ProMaintenance Station is permanently connected to all the devices it services virtually eliminating all connectivity issues.
If the technician were unable to diagnose the problem and require a ProServe support call, the Circonix Technologies technician would use the same ProMaintenance Station via the Internet. This eliminates backup synchronization issues between local support and remote support.
